COULD TODAY GET ANY BETTER?!?!?!

Okay, so I'm no longer going to South Africa because I CAN'T GET THERE BECAUSE SOUTH AFRICAN AIRWAYS IS ON STRIKE. I realize that was a run-on sentence, so don't start with me. To top it all off, my position was already filled at Blockbuster, meaning I'll only get to work like ten hours over the course of the next few weeks. Fuck everyone.

Is there any way you can make another booking with British Airways (or some other airline for that matter) and fly to Johannesburg from London or from Europe?

Already tried - I wouldn't be able to get there until almost next weekend. By then, half the shit I was supposed to do will have already been over with and I'd only be there a week, not worth the $2000 plane tickets. I'll probably go next summer.

I'm so sorry, Jack! I definitely have those "fuck everyone" days (mostly when I'm at work.) You still have enough time to get the hell out of dodge for a while before the semester starts. What are your options?

Maybe go to St. Louis with some friends, maybe work a few more shifts at Blockbuster, maybe sacrifice a cow, maybe a goat... who knows?
